I’m an experienced Technical Designer based in Scotland. I’ve been creating mods for over a decade with a focus on building new gameplay experiences and writing engaging narratives for players to immerse themselves in. I pride myself on my documentation, hosting public-facing documentation for my personal work on my website. Freelance Technical Designer

Became a freelance Technical Designer operating under Otellino Mods, releasing my own products within the Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Starfield marketplaces and performing freelance design for various companies including Bethesda Game Studios.

Returned to Build A Rocket Boy after Orthrus Studios shut down, to continue working on MindsEye.
- • Assisting in training and leading junior technical designers
- • Working closely with the design team in strike teams to iterate quickly on specific aspects of the game
- • Creating and maintaining living tech spec documents detailing implementations of systems
- • Attending playsessions with game direction and studio executives to gather feedback and iterate on gameplay

Joined Build A Rocket Boy as an Associate Gameplay Scripter to work on MindsEye, an ambitious AAA action game.

Bethesda Game Studios

Working with Bethesda Game Studios as a freelance Designer in the Creation Club to create official DLC for Fallout 4.
- • Pitching projects to take forward as official content
- • Implementing art assets, quests and game systems via the Bethesda Game Studios Creation Kit
- • Iterating features and functionality in tandem with the Quality Assurance team to improve upon and fix content
Game Designer
Orthrus Studios

Founding member of Orthrus Studios, serving as Game Designer on various outsource projects and starting work on our first original IP, Distant Kingdoms.
- • Worked with the programming team to define requirements for a text-based scripting language
- • Designed and balanced various pieces of in-game content via our proprietary Vox scripting language
- • Extensive content design, creating levels, designing and implementing tutorials, events and dialogue
